What was the story on him at Tulane? I don’t recall the games between LSU and them. Was he a douche?

I really don’t remember them from then. The 2 years he was there was after Rick Jones and LSU was loaded with Bregman and company.

He was only there tor two years. Not long enough to make a huge impression.

Their fans were douchey, I can tell you that. Quite a few approaching Vandy Whistler level of annoying.

He coached under Wayne Graham. And walks similarly slow to the mound. Absolute douche.

Hey now. Wayne was 125 when he coached so watch that tone. I’m 75 and walk slow because I’m afraid of hurting myself! Walking slowly doesn’t mean you’re a douche as a coach!

Bianco walks and talks like Skip and one thing we all know is he isn’t Skip!

Born, raised, and coached most of his life in Texas. Very good coach who turned things around at Tulane (post-season play and a conference championship). Tulane was only a 2-year temporary spot until one of the best HC jobs in the country became available. Pierce was being looked at by Texas long before Auggie retired

Unfortunately Pawl wouldn’t. That’s why they hired Pierce.

One of my sons friends knew him from Dobie. Said he is a good dude then and when he was at UH. I talked to him after my OP. Just was curious about him.
