Edwards has surgery today and will be out the remainder of the season. Edwards will be applying for a medical hardship to play another season.

I hate to hear this. I like what Edwards brings to the team.

Heal well and rapidly Darryl.

Hope he can come back next year, deserves the opportunity and is an important player. Unfortunate he can’t play anymore on THIS team.

Sucks for depth but the team has played better with an 8 man rotation

He would have been a solid contributor off the bench.

He was solid last season and always under the radar.

Yeah.... no way we could be better with a 9 man rotation.

Seriously though, he would add another really good defender. He and Taylor could spell each other and put a ton of pressure the other teams scorer. Not to mention he was one of the better shooters on our team as well. He no doubt would have been an asset as a spot up shooter with our guards ability to get into the paint.

We’ll still improve and do well as a team, but by no means are we better off with the rotation of 8. We’ll miss his presence at some point.
Hope he recovers well and makes an impact next year.

Completely and add in the loss of Sims.

Watch the NCAA deny the medical hardship. Bunch of losers.

This sucks. He was my favorite player since last season. Loved that intensity he brought on D.

This will be very interesting considering the prospects Wade is still recruiting out of HS.

I was really high on Edwards before the season started. His defense has always been above average to excellent and his three point shot was supposedly amazing all off season. You could tell the injury was keeping him from performing well all season and I'm really hoping he gets the redshirt. I'd love to have him as part of next year's team.
