Daronte Jones connections to a few staff members

This is from the Athletic
The Joseph brothers have Jones on speed dial, and he has them on his, too. They first connected when Mickey Joseph was at Nicholls in the early 2000s and Jones joined the staff for one year in 2002. Vance and Terry Joseph — now an assistant at Texas — are also defensive back coaches, so the bond was instant. They consider Jones to be family.
Corey Raymond, too. They’re all proud members of Omega Psi Phi, as well as the Black coaching fraternity, and the defensive back coach fraternity, too. Jones and Raymond have known each other for years. So while many wondered if Raymond — LSU’s renowned longtime DB coach — would be perturbed by LSU hiring a defensive back expert to lead its defense, Vance Joseph thinks that’s actually an asset for him as an experienced friend.
“I think it’s a perfect fit,” he said.

Someone needs to call Corey and let him know he’s supposed to be angry for being passed over and disrespected.

I hope he speed dials that to lady Moscona!

"black coaching fraternity"
Great news. That and his Bowie State pedigree sway my opinion.

Yea its amazing anytime some of you see anything with the word black how it upsets you, and that's incredible, since 80 percent of team is black.

It's not that he's black. It's that it's being trumpeted around like it means something. Means nothing to me. Results however do. His don't look very good to date.

This was only point out his race to say that it’s one way he’s connected with Coach Raymond. It’s not saying he’s a better coach because of his race or thats specifically why he was hired or anything

I am not the one who pointed it out dipshit. Seemed it was more important that he was an Omega Psi and a affirmative action hire to some.
He's a bad hire regardless of race. If you need to prop him up then do so. I don't.

Baws shamelessly trying to raid the boot

Problematic, undoubtedly.

If the news is true about Baker getting lb is true, that hire screams coach o. Jones as many connections in the nfl and you have Kelvin and Twill out who would be slam dunk hires

People need to quit saying crap like this. It breeds more negativity. This shite is old and tiresome as hell. There were people who hated the Pelini hire but you didn’t hear this nonsense being said.
Some people will not like it, many people won’t like the hire. It isn’t because of his damn skin color. Some of the best actors, businessmen, fisherman, hunters, farmers, athletes, soldiers, husbands, coaches and people in general are black or brown.
The only issue are ones making it an issue. That’s the truth! Quit being part of the problem and be part of the solution. It’s someone’s actions that most people judge on. Are there some foolish people out there? Yes there are but there are just as many black and brown fools as there are white fools, who judge on something as simple as skin color. Stop being so damn ignorant!
I think more people don’t like the hire because O made the hire and not because of the hire itself. This could be a home run hire, a perfect fit, a smart move, a well thought out hire or it could be a complete bust, the dumbest move, the hire that sinks this staff or it could be just an average hire, one that doesn’t move the needle, one that doesn’t cause us to lose games but doesn’t win any and doesn’t get people excited about O but doesn’t get him fired either. You just don’t know? But what I do know is that this mans skin color won’t win or lose us games. That is a fact!!! So stfu with this BS already. Get over it!

The funniest part is how those same people say "we need to stop making everything about race" are the ones who read an entire post and only focus on the part that mentions race

It's much more about the shitty delivery (Clark specifically) and making it all about race.
As an LSU fan, I couldn't give TWO shits what color any of our Coaches/Players are. Just play hard, represent LSU well and win baby.

And you have NO idea if this is true or not.
Give the man a shot
