He had more game time experience, he’s surrounded by good talent, if the offensive line doesn’t improve(no way. It can’t really) he has the legs to scramble.

Nuss seems to improved greatly from his play last year, and he will just be a sophomore next year, it gives him more time to development.

A dual treat QB probably helped flip Collins and may help bring in the last few recruits.

This played out the best possible way for the program. Add to it a staff that may be able to develop players. Anybody see that sickening shite-show last year?

So this board is putting faith in an un-named source talking to a media outlet? Sounds logical to me. After all, they said there was no voter fraud.

I’m letting the season play out. I want the bestQB to play.I just hope if it is Daniel's, Nuss doesn’t transfer.

Based on what? One WWL report? I've never heard of WWL before today. Based on the reports from everyone who has been act practice, Nuss has been the consensus #1

Not true
Multiple people who have attended practice (AYS, Mikie Mahtook, and Jacques Doucet) have all reported that Jayden was leading this battle

The same Nuss that wouldn’t play for his team when they needed him most?? Had he played in the bowl game i truly think he’d be the starter right now as we speak.

personally, I don't care about "safe plays". I certainly understand why Denbrock and CBK might. But I disagree with your premise and don't think this is about "safe play" at all... if it for sure comes to pass. Which, from where I sit, is not set in stone as of yet.

But, our biggest weapons are some very special WRs. All that matters is using our strengths to attack their weaknesses resulting in putting as many points on the board as possible.

Whomever does that the best is all that matters. There are many ways to get there. Just want to get there.

I also think Daniels has improved way more than anyone anticipated. He's no Burrow, but I can't help but think of the work Burrow put in between '18 and '19 and see a PARALELL. Daniels is showing it so far. To what degree is the only question... as yet unanswered. But he put in the work, and it is evident.

WWL reports aside, I'm guessing its 80% Daniels will start. However, my gut is leaving the door open to Nuss because between him and Howard, the longer term success of the program will be more rooted in their skill sets which as so similar. My 2 cents.

From what we've been hearing, our WR corps will be our strength on offense. It would seem that having a dual threat QB, who really isn't much of a threat throwing the ball, would play against that strength. I keep hearing comparisons to Anthony Jennings or Brandon Harris, which isn't a good thing.

Jeremy Hill has been at basically every practice even after the media leaves and he's saying Daniels.

Geez you guys are going entirely too far out with this stuff. IF Daniel’s is the starter for game number 1, that doesn’t secure him the job the entire year people!

Brian Kelly sat a once heisman QB for someone with less experience than Nuss, for some of his most important games. Nuss isn’t going to transfer anywhere and Daniel’s is hardly penciled in for every single game on the schedule. Daniel’s could beat the first 5 opponents by an average score of 42-17 but Nuss is going to get some action so they can see him in game action. If he stays on Jadens tail and Jaden has a really bad half against an SEC foe we could easily see Nuss come in and take over the rest of the season into next.

It could happen in the first darn game or if could happen if Jaden is struggling to win the games they expect more out of him. If Nuss game starts to click and he creeps closer every week in practices, they will give him his shot to take it over. I think if he’s given that opportunity, he will take it and run with it, no pun intended.

Jaden could also light the score boards up and Nuss still gets his opportunities during big leads in games. Thats why you keep recruiting these top QBs into your program and you can sell that to all these kids who believe they are better. If you come to LSU and prove it, no matter what the situation with depth, you’ll get on the field and get your chance to prove it.

You never worry about guys transferring or recruit with that worry or name starters with that in mind. You play the best QB and give that QB all the chances he deserves to prove or disprove your belief in him. That’s all you can do and all they should expect. This is LSU, we are going after the top spot and nothing less. Come help us get there and be a part of our assent.

Im of the opinion it will be JD.I have watched game
film of him against USC,UCLA ARIZONA and he really looked
good. He can run and throw. What he needs to do is become
more patient in the pocket. With LSUs WRs this guy adlibbing
could create some monster plays. In BKs mind the fact that
he has 30 + games under his belt, against quality opponents,
gives him a serious edge.
