Couldn't agree more, I love the guy and the site but he needs to be a little more realistic and less worried about offending the upper brass at LSU. If it is a pig, call it a pig. I don't mind so much putting lipstick on the pig but at least tell us it is putting lipstick on a pig. Don't feed me chicken- shite and call it chicken salad.

When has Dandy Don ever been relevant? The site has never claimed to be the inside scoop of everything that is LSU sports. They provide color commentary to LSU sports you dumbass!!!
You don't go to Dandy Don to get inside scoop that no one else has, and if you do, than you are dumber than your post. You go to get color commentary to news regarding LSU athletics.

Scott Long on occasion learns something other don't know but it is few and far between. Don't get me wrong Scott Long does an excellent job in giving color to what is happening at LSU, albeit with his purple and gold sunglasses on most of the time, but he still does an incredible job. I enjoy reading his post everyday but I have learned over the more than 10 years of reading their posts that they very rarely break news that no one else has heard. If you actually knew what you were talking about, you would know that fact. Now does Scott ever come up with inside scoop? Absolutely but it is not often and I think if you ask Scott himself, he will not deny that. But I also don't feel that is his main focus. Like I said in my previous post the Dandy Don site gives great color commentary to all things LSU sports and he is truly appreciated for it.
But if you think he is the source man for LSU, well someone needs to give you a lil rap where your brain is not knock it back into gear so here you go!
