I think that they now try to pair up conference matches in the Supers. That assures you have a better chance of a variety of conferences in Omaha as opposed to a rematch of Hoover, for example. More conferences being repped in Omaha is better for college baseball in general.

Yeah, aside from the secondary ticket market, there would be no monetary benefit to the NCAA in sending LSU there aside from it being must see TV. Wiser to let the LSU fan base prop up a different regional with poorer fan support.
