According to practice reports, Campbell was practicing on the D Line today and Magee was back at practice...interesting

Orgeron specifically said today that Campbell would replace Hines if he were to get injured while Brumfield is out. Makes zero sense that he is on defense at practice.

Can't hurt. Campbell hasn't seen the field at guard so maybe he'll do better on defense

I heard about this at lunch today. It confused the hell out of me when I heard the presser. But my source couldn't have been wrong.

Don't forget, one of the things Orgeron learned under P. Carroll was cross-training between the lines. It continued under Kiffin. At USC, Orgeron spent time with the OL, and Cregg/Summers spent time coaching the DL.

So the idea of moving back and forth isn't foreign to them... even players.

With Magee back at RT, they can use Deculus as OG backup. That's where he started the season. Guess that frees up Campbell.

Rosenthal to oline. Campbell to dline. Seems like these are moves usually made during the offseason.

Usually when guys are not getting pt as olinemen it is due to lack of quickness or as a guard maybe not being strong enough or both. Unless it is all strictly technique issues I don’t see how moving to dline would benefit the player or the team.

"best and highest use"

Rosenthal is going to be a monster OT.

Campbell is not going to be a monster anywhere on OL; decent guard, but just too stiff. He's been passed. So he will likely have use on the DL; dude is strong as an ox.

Neither will likely have immediate impact. I can see Campbell getting some time soon, but that's different than impact. For the future, pretty good moves.

I want Deculus to get reps at both OG and OT; I predict he will be our "multi-tool" by the end of the year. Invaluable for a team in the SEC. Despite popular opinion, I think he's got all the tools. And it will allow us to bring both OGs and OTs along with a safety net in the future.

that would be my guess. Probably just shy of 350 lbs now? 6'3.5"

Remembering that such traditional roles don't mean squat to Aranda sometimes. He's not scared at all to put the quickest guy over the C, as long as it is coordinated with his LBs.

Shelvin continues to be a mystery. All he does is pace up and down sidelines during the games.

Rosenthal will RS this year. Got the frame but needs the weight room. Will be a great LT. Maybe Charles moves to RT next season.

How is it fricking with me? I was suggesting that the media could be wrong about him switching. You certainly don't have any room calling anyone a tard on here considering some of the nonsense you post.
