The bandwagon basketball fans need to go to bed. Yes, the last two losses have been disappointing. Yes, Wades teams are notorious for playing an undisciplined style of basketball. Yes, we have lost 5 straight to big brother Alabama.

But, take a big breath and look where this program was just 5 years ago. Wade has brought in top 5 recruiting classes consistently, he's finished in the top 5 of the SEC consistently, and he's brought us to the tournament multiple times. Please relax and understand that this program is in a much better situation than previously. Wade is a young and energetic coach that will continue to get better as he grows in his career.

it’s not like Alabama beat us with good coaching and disciplined basketball. they almost blew it at the end too.

it’s college basketball, just because young guys make mistakes under pressure doesn’t mean they are poorly coached. that’s what makes the sport so much fun to watch; the games are never over when you think they should be and the best coached teams have their weak moments as well.

if we get healthy and take care of the teams we need to take care of the rest of the year, we will be well positioned for a high seed and will be dangerous in the tournament with our defense

Not as great as some hoped, not nearly as bad as some think.

Wade isn't a great tactician and relies on pure talent. He's missing a couple of pieces but he's close.

Way better than it was. Still a ways to go.

Yea, it ain’t just us. Turn on any college game on a Tuesday/Wednesday night and you see dumb turnovers and stupid fouls. It’s just the nature of the beast.

Have you ever listen to him speak about the game? I promise you, he is not just rolling the ball out there and hoping the players perform.

Just one example:

Triple-switch defense

I agree 100%, he lacks the Xs and Os of coaching. He's not going to draw up a situational play during a timeout. He's a roll the basketball out and go kind of coach. So far, he has had the talent to overcome a lot of those inefficiencies.

What has been extremely encouraging to me this year is the defense. The previous years our defense has been our achilles' heel. It obvious that Wade spent a ton of time in the offseason improving on the defensive side of the ball.

We have to remember, Wade is still a "young" coach. He's in his 9th season as a head coach. If he can continue to grow on the same trajectory as he has been, we will have a very well respected program.

Thank you, Alt

I try to tell ppl who criticize him without listening to anything he says. It is frustrating to watch at times, but I don’t think it’s fair to criticize and judge someone when you don’t listen or have a clue as to what they’re trying to accomplish.

Wade’s record in close games and against conference teams with similar talent doesn’t jive with this statement. You can believe what you like, but the facts don’t back you up

Chicken Little!
We are now playing without three starters, Miller, Pinson, and Days. and playing the toughest part of the schedule. Bad things can happen.
We will recover.

Something tells me you never actually heard Wade talk about the game.

Just because he models his offense off NBA 1-on1 style play doesnt mean he isn't a great tactician.

The guy has the best defense in the country this year playing many different looks.

He knows what he's doing.

You really think he just lived off talent at VCU and Chattanooga too?
