So it feels like PM is being the most successful hcs in lsu history?

Doesnt measure up?
Miles has as many top 5 finishes as Saban, Mac , and Dietzel combined at lsu.

I swear some of you actually believe Miles' tenure was a failure.

Don't waste your time Adam. Some of these people don't even realize that thos two seasons are considered a success.

Poche getting knocked out in the 5th inning is a dire sign

Yes it is a sign. A sign that you can't throw your fastball belt high over the middle of the plate and get away with it many times. He didn't have his stuff yesterday. It happens. It's happened to Lange several times this year. I'm not too worried about our pitching. My only real concern is the lack of production 5-9. The top of the order can't carry this team. 5-9 need to learn plate discipline more than anything.

Using the Miles formula where one national championship yields nine (9) subsequent seasons, I would project CPM has through next season before he is in trouble. That is, of course, unless they decide to do it late this season, then have a change of heart and let him stay one more season before firing him.

We just lost in the superregionals to the eventual NCAA champs, and we have been the CWS two of the last four years. I understand a CWS appearance is not the ultimate goal, but how many coaches have fared batter during the last few years?

LSU fans, myself included, are under the spell of the Nick Sabanization of expectations-in football and baseball. Since when is winning a national championship every few years a requisite to keeping your job?

Anyway, I actually like a baseball team to start off slowly with the hope that the pieces and momentum will come together toward the end of the year rather than the beginning.

OH NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Please don't do that. Please go to Hoover.LSU needs loyal fans like you. What will they ever do without you? How will the program ever survive?
Please reconsider. You are a vital cog in the program.

This is LSU baseball. Anything short of a CWS appearance is a disappointment. And even an appearance isn't enough for a large portion of the fan base.

It's a hell of a lot harder to win college World Series than in skip's day or even 2009

Do you think you could cancel your hotel and plan a fishing trip without announcing it to the internet?

Never understood when someone says they're not watching/attending any longer, and follows it up with "I'm still gonna support the team"
Here's the honest truth :
No one gives a shite what you're going to do.
