Than ever. He keeps ranting about how he doesn’t really love Burrow and Tua is better.

Well he also asked urban how they didn’t get burrow when recruiting. The guy is clueless about sports.

No clue why people make these shock jocks so popular. They are saying ridiculous things all the time to illicit responses, clicks and views etc...

Cowherd is a West Coast / Las Vegas guy...
Tua is from HI. ...can you say West Coast ??
and yes he is a dick:

in his career:
After Cowherd made a controversial statement about Dominican Republic baseball players, it was announced in July 2015 that Cowherd would leave ESPN following the end of his contract with them.

In fairness, Cowherd openly admits that all he wants is clicks and views. It’s no secret.

Whatever “moves the needle”

Well he was right when he said that LSU wasn't going to even come close to beating Alabama, and that Alabama would win by 2 touchdowns convincingly.

Oh wait.

I really hope these GMs, especially the one in Cincinnati agree and don't select Joe with their first pick. More chance for Joe to end up on a better team.

Who cares? In his line of work, it pays to have ridiculous takes. I doubt the talking heads believe most of the things they say.

Burrow is better than Tua. But only in health. Tua is just as good as Burrow, but is a serious health liability.

You guys need to realize that national sports y’all is essentially like professional wrestling. You are either a heal or baby face. I would say that Greenie is one of the few Jim Ross types that simply tries to get over both the heels and and bay faces on his show. Cowherd is a classic heel. Says shite that he knows will get a rise out of most of his audience just to get responses. The responses are the “heat” that his bosses measure to determine if he is over or not. Stephen A , Skip—classic heels. SVP, Eisen and Dan—baby faces.

I actually think Joe understands the game better than Tua, even if Tua may be slightly favored physically when well.

There probably hasn't been this much of a pre-draft lock at No. 1 since at least Clowney in 2014, if not Luck in 2012. There is still 3 months to the draft and a LOT of dead air to fill. Trying to stir up controversy is one way to help fill the time.

Plus, other teams behind the Bengals probably desperately want Burrow but don't want to pay the price of a trade. So, they are (or will be soon) spreading reasons to "not" draft Burrow. The lead up to the draft is lying season, and the media is the vehicle to spread those lies

You are basing this on what? I am not arguing your opinion I am just curious what you are using to make this statement? I have heard others says and like you, they say it without anything backing it up?

Right, his logic behind this is that Burrow only did it for one season, while Tua did it over his career. I don't think he realizes that Burrow started at LSU for two seasons. And he doesnt realize that Tua barely played as a freshman. You could argue that Tua only did it for one season as well.

Cowherd doesn’t like the South and only likes places because of the weather (i.e., West Coast). He says certain things to get attention and to get people talking - evidently, it is working.

He is mostly clueless about college football and has tripped over his own words on more than one occasion. FWIW, I know a few people who know him well and they all speak highly of him as a person.

Cowherd admitted that he doesn't watch college football. How the hell would he know? Pillow talk with Todd McShay?
