What did he do? He talked about something. I’ve talked about about a lot of things. None of them were necessarily true

Wade "closed the door" on this buyer, so NO it is not trouble for him.

Time will reveal........

That headline was very misleading. Wade is smart enough not to talk about that shite over the phone. He said nothing that should elicit punishment.

If that is the meat and potatoes of what Wade said I think he should be fine. He never mentions money. That could be interpreted as a lot of things just saying “I can get you what you need, but it has got to work.”

Yes, everyone does it. However, there’s a problem when you get caught

If they go after wade, there's a couple hundred other coaches they'll have to go after. Not happening. It's been long tolerated

70,000 Americans died from opioid overdoses last year. And the DOJ tasks the FBI with investigations into cash for college athletes?

Who wins? Nike?

Talking about paying for a player isn't a violation.

It’s only ok if it is Alabama football players. I’m sure Tua’s family all picked up and moved from one of the prettiest places in the US to a shithole without a job just to watch their little boy play tackle football.

I'm just going to reference the quotes in the article below the Wade article.

Duke and UNC started all this back in the 80's and these two were the frontrunners. K paid and set up Duhon's family years ago. The whole gist of the article is about Williamson but Duke comes out squeaky clean? Amazing the player mentioned hasn't even signed anywhere and was likely never coming to LSU.

"I really haven't followed it that much," Krzyzewski said about the trial during his team's media day press conference on Monday. "I think it's minute, it's a blip. It's not what's happening. ... We haven't lost guys because someone cheated. I haven't paid attention to it because I haven't been affected by it."
North Carolina's Roy Williams said last week he'd never been asked to pay a recruit and added that he's "not familiar with" the devious underworld of college basketball portrayed at the trial.

Krzyzewski said he "understands" Williams. He also said he's more concerned with grad transfers than cheaters.

Lol exactly. Not to mention the nunerous articles that have been written about the overt cheating but hey let's go after college basketball. Too much money being made in football I guess.

Anyway, Will didn't say shite. Haters gonna hate as the board likes to say

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING will ever happen to Alabama football-from their grads working the SEC Offices or the Midget’s buddy Emmert running the NCAA. They can cheat to their hearts’ content, pass out weed and sports cars to erryone, and cherrypick their SEC opponents unless something dramatic happens (and it won’t).
