If he lost to Miami, Auburn, then LA Tech in a letdown game? It’s not like he has a history of success to lean on.

Man, LSU's just an ATM machine dispensing buyout-obligated money like they're at a strip joint considering how backloaded this contract is

Starting off 1-3 wouldn’t do it?

Financially, it would not be wise

Financially it wasn’t wise to fire Miles either. And he won the NC. Orgeron was 10-27.

If we're 4-5 after losing to Bama, I really think he should be strongly considered to be let go.

Losses to Miami, Auburn, Florida, and Georgia are not impossible before Bama at all.

For it to have any real effect, Alleva would have to be fired with him.

I agree with this. Either before him or with him.

I have no faith in Alleva to find a suitable coach, mainly because he considered O a suitable coach to sustain the success Miles had achieved and that is nowhere close to what's happened.

No it wasn't. It also wasn't honorable or football smart. In other words it was classic Joe Alleva.

Go back to Tech and just fricking stop. All this hate and ridiculous speculation is bad enough coming from idiots on this board who claim to be actual LSU grads (there are very few).....much less you.

some other thread you could start that make about as much sense as this one is:

Could Mainieri be fired mid-season 2018 like Miles?

both would be/are stupid threads.

You are out of material for trolling if this is the best you can come up with.

People don't realize that there is a ridiculously high possibility of LSU losing to those 5 plus a let down game (I mean we lost to Troy and got destroyed by Miss St with a really experienced team). Even with a possibile top 10 defense, I don't see how we win more than 8 in the regular season. If LSU has a losing season, I can't see how he is not let go, and Alleva needs to go with him.

So funny seeing all these butthurt 0 babies in here. OP asks a legit question of a coach who’s career has been god awful and everyone calls him an idiot.

Idk if you can fire 0 mid season, not to mention alleva would have to go to, he hitched his wagon to the 0 train. But firing 0 mid season would set a bad example for the next guy. (Who’s going to have to be a diamond in the rough as LSU will have fallen off a cliff)

Doubtful, but Alleva could, and should, be gone in that scenario. He has to be fired before the administration can take an objective look at Orgeron.
