"Tulane would pack the Dome"? Last year, the conference title on the line, the weenies didn't sell out their high school - like stadium. Count the other team's fans & the weenie crowd would have pushed mabe 25K. They have never sold their ticket allotment in Tiger Stadium.

No. But I would love for LSU to replace Clemson with Tulane on the schedule next year to settle the debate and restore the rivalry now that Tulane is good again.

LSU's next opponent Oklahoma did. So it's likely to believe, if you look at common opponents between LSU and OK--

1) LSU 36, S. Car 33 vs S. Car 35, OK 9 (+29)
2) LSU 13, Alabama 42 vs OK 24, Alabama 3 (-50)
3) LSU 29, Ole Miss 26 vs OK 14, Ole Miss 26 (+15)

Gaging from those three games alone, it appears Oklahoma may be ~ 6 points better than LSU.

Oklahoma beat Tulane by 15, so it appears LSU would beat them on a neutral field (Mercedes Benz Superdome)? by ~ 9 points.

Neutral field…Dunkel Index has LSU ( -0.5) over Tulane.

Basically, LSU (-1) over Tulane.

This thread proves how many fricking Poolane LOSERS are pretending to be LSU fans since the 2000’s. I’ve said it dozens of times that this cesspool is loaded with shitty arse people that are fans of other teams as well as those sorry arse fans who have shitty arse schools like POOLANE.

frick POOLANE.

No way. Tulane beat UL because of a pick six and KO TD. UL dominated statistically. I'm not so delusional to think the UL could hang with LSU, nor could Tulane.

Watching games in the Superdome sucks arse! You are a mile from the field no matter where you sit and that damn constant echo from the announcer is so annoying!
Tiger Band at half-time of the LSU vs Tulane game in the Superdome. (This is either 1979 or 1981)

Semjase is Bass Drum #3 way down there on the 50 yard line.......

.LSU needs to open or close the season every year with Tuck Fulane,

Oklahoma fixin to close with Oklahoma State again,
Astroglide & Mechanical closing with Texas.
Arkansas closing with Missouri

Georgia closes with Non-SEC Georgia Tech.
Florida closes with Non-SEC Florida State.

Uhhh yes…

I would love it for them to face off in a hypothetical bowl or extra added game … there’s a lot of Tulane loud mouths out there who need a reality check
