Could enough chaos happen to get lsu into consideration?

Looking at the rankings after this weekends chaos does make me wonder. I feel eight teams ahead of lsu will have one more loss before this season ends based off their schedules. If lsu blows out Florida and Texas A&M I think they would be ranked ahead of quite a few two loss teams. I do think it would take a lot of chaos but there is still a small chance. There will definitely be at least one two loss team in playoffs this year. Anybody else think there is a shot?

I don't think there's much chance.

Even with a ton of upsets, the P5 conference champs would still be two loss teams and I can't see the committee going to a 3 loss team in front of them.

That said, if LSU wins out, the resume is a whole lot better that many may think from just looking at the loss column. The final score matters most but LSU would basically be two plays in road games against good teams from being 11-1.

Sugar Bowl for this team will be a large positive going into next season.

Yes, it can happen.

LSU must win out convincingly over Florida and A&M.

Assume that Bama and Big ten winner are in.

That leaves two spots. If say, the ACC (va tech) and PAC 10 (USC) champs both have three losses....or maybe Okie State wins the Big 12....

Probably need Clemson/Louisville (whoever isn't in championship game) to lose a game, and certain other results like Michigan beating Ohio State big, but the path is there.

It's not reliant in Chatanooga beating Alabama or anything off the wall. It's several things that are unlikely, but not totally impossible

If LSU would have beat Bama we'd be in the picture.... LSU lost and the rest is history
