A lot of baseball left.

Depends on Verlanders next start.

Springer is making a strong case as well.

I doubt it. He pitched well but came out down 3-1 and got a ND. He’d have to throw a no-hitter or something. Even then, there’d probably be an offensive guy. But let’s not start sucking each other’s dicks just yet.

BRegman's bat has gone cold. Springer's two dingers will put him in running.

He gave up 2 hits. If he has a similar performance in another game and gets the win, I could see it going to him.

But at this point it has to be:
1A Bregman
1B Springer

But a lot of baseball left to be played.

I would think the odds are not in his favor with a BA of under .200. Maybe he hits a HR that wins the series.

Way too early to think about MVP now.

I understand people here want to hate Bregman for whatever reason, but he has had a great series. He has come up with some clutch hits in big spots and his defense has been solid as well.

But if you want to hate, go ahead and point to the average.

How is that hating? It's a fact. No one dislikes bregs, but hitting under .200 isn't going to help him win MVP.

Unfortunately, Bregs only homers when the Stros lose.

No hate involved. Bregman was one of my all time favorites at LSU and I have followed his progress daily through the season. Just a statement of fact.

Bregman has an RBI in every single game against the dodgers so far.

Yeah, that's BS. There have been multiple threads here with people dogging the shite out of Bregman.

A batting average over 3 games is not a good indicator of anything. If you are 2 for 10 over that span, you are hitting .200....but those two hits could be walk off game winners. Could have some RBIs sprinkled in those at bats aw well. That would certainly be MVP worthy.

I'm not saying Bregs should get it though. But as of game 2 he was the guy. Now after 4 games, probably not so much. Others have emerged, the Astros still have to win, and there is a lot of baseball left to be played.

He will have to show up big for the next couple at least. No, not yet.
