People like him are pathetic. They troll the board and never have anything good to say. We get it, you don't like LSU. Then why the frick do you continue to come here and chime in on LSU subjects? Douche.

CWeb was a freakin stud in college (and continues to be in the pros).

He had a lingering hamstring injury during his SR season, otherwise he would have been a first round pick. Has a SB ring and is still above average NFL corner.

Is that why Joe Haden shut down Julio Jones and Peterson got burned?

Oh wait... Thats right, Peterson is the one who shut down Julio.

quote:

Jones had four catches for 102 yards, including a 73-yard game-changer. But the best he could do when matched against Peterson was draw a pass interference call late in the first half.

“I most definitely won that battle,” Peterson said. “He didn’t have a catch on me.”

I also thought this was funny.

Funny that nobody caught it sooner.

let's get back to the topic real quick

CWeb 03: 46 tkls, 3.5 TFL, 1 sack, 7 INTs, 25 PBUs (in 14 games)
Haden 09: 62 tkls, 5 TFL, 3 sacks, 4 INTs, 9 PBUs (thru 13 games)

excuse my bias, but I'm rolling with CWeb.

Typical Alabama fan: "disillusioned"..
Did you mean delusional or perhaps delusioned?

Haden may be better. Only time will tell.
However Corey made several signature plays in a National Championship season: a great INT in the UGa game and an INT in the National Championship game which lead to a TD. Did Haden have any of those plays last year that were directly responsible for wins?

He is not even a Bama fan. Just has that up there to troll the board.

In 2003, Travis Daniels was as good if not better than Webster. Webster gets more mention because of his interceptions and his NFL career.
Daniels had more tackles, pass breakups, quarterback hurries, & sacks. Daniels' was a master at using the sidelines to limit his opponents window. His technique was exceptional.
Webster still can't cover Roy Williams.

On that first Roy Williams TD, he should have been flagged for grabbing Webster's facemask.
