The breakaway speed on that TD was great. Very happy for him.

Guy waited for his opportunity and made the most of it.

Tip of a hat to the run blocking as well.

I think I'm most happy for Nick after last night. Waited his turn and after that "good, not great" comment it was awesome to see him have a great game.

His ability to see a hole and hit it was really impressive. Happy for him and glad he’s on our team.

He was the surprise of the game for me. I didn’t think he was bad but I didn’t expect him to separate himself from the other RBs like that. Congrats to him.

yep.

I had my doubts, severe doubts.

Also had my hopes- which were fulfilled.

Loved being proved wrong on this one.

People are going to laugh at me but he looked a lot like leveon Bell in his approach to hitting holes.

His burst through the hole and vision were pretty impressive

I'll admit to being wrong about Brossette. I'm glad he broke out. I don't know about who is behind him but somebody else needs to step up.

I was impressed at his ability to find the holes. I'm proud he had such a good start. I was a doubter and he performed. Good job

I could see Brossette and Burrow both coming on behind an offensive line that is gelled by the Auburn game and making the offense more balanced than expected.

Brossette, thanks for not transferring when you had two of the greatest LSU running backs ahead of you!!!

Ran with patience, found the hole and hit it. Protected the ball as well. Very happy for him. All that yelling from RB coach is working lol

yep, that's a Sr running the ball, especially that patience.

I know Robinson was hard on Brossette, he made him his special project going back to last year. I'll tip my cap to both.

And I watched Brossette closely, he is indeed protecting the ball better. He's still got one trait I can't stand- he'll flail his off hand around for balance sometimes. BUT, when not in open field he's two-handing and carrying the ball high and tight. Consistently.

Had people paid attention to his brief appearances previously, and not only to his opening play fumble, then they would have noticed his vision for the hole was very good and his patience to hit it was much better than Fournette's. He may not have the speed and strength of Fournette, but he has better vision.

They did a great job blocking on the edge. Gerald Willis made it tough to do much up the middle. Overall solid.
