Congrats on LSU coming back from a 12-0 deficit on the road . . .

in the SEC against a ranked team that was totally fired up to beat us in a renewed rivalry.
I didn't think we could do it.
I didn't see any way that we would pull this off after the first quarter.
I almost went out to work in the yard.
But, the defense put together an amazing game after the first quarter. The offense did just enough to get the victory. The team never quit.
I would have liked to have seen a better offensive performance, no doubt. The coaching is questionable. Mett has issues. The receivers play small. But, the team won and for that, I am glad.
So, fight on, Tigers! Bama is coming to town. Anything is possible.

These Tigers never quit. The Bandits are incredible.

LSU looks like a different team on the road. That was a close one. Nice road win.

We beat a good team. Tigers will keep working to get better.

And, we play much better at home. Especially at night. Alabama is the better team. To beat them will require the game of their lives. Coaches too. But, lesser teams have beaten better teams before. It happens every week. LSU can do it. I believe.

Limit penalties, convert 3rd downs, don't turn the ball over and make some catches down field and we have a chance. If we have one bad quarter like today and bama wins. Bama boy is playing well right now.

I think we all know that Bama's better than LSU right now.
Doesn't mean that LSU can't get up, after a bye week, at Tiger Stadium, to outplay and outhustle Bama for 60 minutes. What will help us is that LSU players will be hearing how they have no shot to win for 2 weeks. I actually hope they read this board.

One could argue that they quit at Florida.

I don't think they quit. I think that the offense was inept and the defense gave out. I still don't understand that game. I still think that LSU is the better team than Florida, but they didn't play like it that day.

LSU is a team that takes a spark to get it going
typically it's a turnover
they are slow starters

It's true. It really is a good win, even though it was ugly.
The day A&M inked their deal with the SEC, this game became their Super Bowl.
Before the season, undefeated seemed plausible. After a few games, it became obvious that the UF/SC/A&M gambit was a tough row. Coming through it with one loss isn't that bad, especially with the one loss being a close road loss to the now #2 team in the country.
But, we've got a huge order Nov. 3. That's the game we'll have to play unlike we've played anytime this year and put it all together to win. I hope we give 'em hell.

That usually works for most teams.

quote:Questionable offensive coaching is a big fat understatement. Victory today is entirely due to LSU's Defense and Coach Chavis. Without the strong D factor, LSU wouldn't have more than one or two wins this year, and none to hope for in the remaining games of this season.
The coaching is questionable. Mett has issues. The receivers play small. But, the team won...

Well, without a defense, most teams would not win very many games. it is part of the game.
