College with most players on NFL roster? LSU. Most on MLB roster? LSU (& Long Beach St.)

LSU and Long Beach lead all colleges with 9 former players on MLB rosters.

Its crazy how large of percentage of MLB players didn't play major college baseball.

Yet we win almost nothing (exception of 07 and 09 years)... disappointing stat but also happy for the pro guys!

LSU is one of the premier schools in the country in this millennia age. It's like USC, Bama, Oklahoma, Ohio St, Mich and all those schools have been for the longest going back to '70's. LSU is right up there with them now and in a lot of cases superior in name recognition for today's youngsters.

And that isn't counting those who signed with LSU and went directly to the majors. If those had played here there would be more.
