Why did we let him get away. He looks better than any of our current QBs. We have had the stupidest QBrecruiting in the SEC for so many years. 6’7” 230 Prostyle QB from Lafayette with an above average arm. Ends up at Ark and looks very good.

Not sure, but the consensus on there was that he was trouble with a capital T. Some can shed more light on it. Idk.

We did not miss shite here. Was in trouble again in feb according to a hog fan. And do u remember what he looked like when he came into the game last year?

Maybe I'm missing something, but I saw the kid play a few times last season and never did I come away thinking "man we missed on that guy."

His 3 for 10 for 36 yards, a pick, and a DWI arrest when they played LSU was legendary.

I hate to let facts get in the way. But....He has better stats versus SEC teams than any of our QBs, so I’d say he has been better up to this point. He got DWI arch criminal. No way I’d let him anywhere near our program. I’d hate for our multiple offense dope smokers to hang around with him.

I know his father and was on a hunt with him and others when Cole was being recruited. Cameron called often but the offer was never made because LSU was after different athletic QBs at the time and that's what les wanted. (Basicaly more mobile dual threa qbs)
It was said in a slightly different way but directly from his fathers mouth so they moved on and accepted Arky.
Everyone knew it was stupid because the offense wasn't set up for that type to be effective. (Dads words) Basically Les wanted the dual qb, without running the offense that supported it.
I hear everyone in here argue tirelessly about the Les situation with the QB choices and offense. If you let what I say sink in, it explains a LOT about Les"s decisions (not making sense) ml

That was the year Franks was committed and everyone wanted Patterson. Nobody wanted Kelley over them and lots of people wanted Scott(who we eventually got very late) over him too.

Yeah, I didn't want to get involved in that conversation but basically he wasn't good enough to risk it on his perceived character issues.
