Contractors are not going to come because of all the rant negativity. They’ll go build in Alabama instead.

I can see Coach O telling T-Derek. "I just bought a new house and would like to stay in it for more than a year."

T-Derek: "Dont worry coach I got you covered."

T-Derek gets permission to hire 5 more student workers to pump out LSU football propaganda on LSU message boards.

Chris - I'm almost 54 years old and have been an LSU fan since birth. Grew up in Baton Rouge, graduated from LSU. Been to Tiger Stadium and the Assembly Center more times than you can imagine. When not in the stadium I listened on the radio, before there was ESPN. Rarely, and I mean rarely, missed a game. There's no bigger fan of the Tigers than me.

But the one thing I am NOT is a homer. I choose to view life with my eyes wide open, unaffected by any bias. And that applies to LSU sports.

Now I'm sorry if can't comprehend that LSU fans can love their team but still criticize their coach. You'll find out as you grow up that this is possible. Not all criticism means you hate something. In many (or most) cases, it means you actually love something enough to identify what's wrong and try to make it better.

He can save some time and labor by not bothering to pull up the For Sale sign in the front yard.

Sounds much like my story. Season tickets in 3 sports for many years. Wasn't a fan of the process or the result when we hired Orgeron. But it is what it is.
He has made some mistakes. I don't blame him for Canada. No one could have known that MC would be a cancer in the staff. I loved the offense and think it would have been really good with either MB15 or LN2 at QB. But probably good he is gone.
Thought we should have hired another big name OC but O really values trust on a staff. So I am willing to give another season to let Steve E install his offense.
What I really cant take is the personal & continuing barrage of infantile insults & defamation of Orgeron. Give the guy another year and support the TIgers you say you love without being such an arse toward the coach. If he doesn't do the job, then I will be at the head of the line calling for firing him, as I was with Les. That is after I supported Les for years, BTW. But being the eternal optimist, I really think our offense will be much better this year than last now that we will have QBs with serious ability. But calling Ed names is just sophomoric.

I agree, but I'm not one of those that calls Ed names. I keep my criticism above-board and not personal at all.

Between salary and buyouts, he's pretty much guaranteed $12-14 million from now until the end of 2020 season.

Truest statement you made.

There were threads on this board days after he was hired pointing out that he never stayed put at one job very long. Surely Orgeron knew this prior to hiring him and surely he called previous coaches for whom Canada worked and vetted him.

Ironically, so did Matt Canada. Orgeron, however, wanted to play Etling.

yes how could we have ever known that a guy, who by his own admissions butted heads with previous head coaches when they meddled in his offense, would go badly when O immediately meddled in his offense. Truly shocking outcome.

which is what? Hell, the latest talking point seems to be they want install things the eagles were doing in the Super Bowl. I'm not sure they even know that steve's offense is
