Coach O has about a 2 year window, and then?

Then many will be calling for him to go, and Fisher to be hired. Just remember right after Fisher took the A&M job, his asst Peveto(also a fmr LSU asst) was accused of giving cash to recruits. Not to mention all the issues he had at FSU. Let's just wait and see if Fisher has any more issues with the NCAA over the next couple years.

You idiots need to stop with the coach O window. Let’s see how the season plays out first. I’m choosing to enjoy the current status of the LSU football program, even though I didn’t like the way the O hire went down.

I expect A&M to be really good in 2020. I see them losing 4 games this year.

Sounds about right. I'd guess he has 2 years to at least make the playoffs or he's out...assuning someone we want is available.

This. Coach O was not what LSU deserved, but has overcome his limitations and exceeded expectations. From all indications he is moving this thing in a positive direction. Until it falls off, let’s enjoy it.

7-5 is a possibility. Their schedule is tough and they lost an aweful lot last year. If A&M wins 10 regular season games I’ll shut up about Jimbo being overrated.

I would be completely shocked if we don't finish better than A&M this year. I see A&M losing:

I was one of the biggest anti-O posters on this board, but he won 10 games last year and that will shut me up for now. He’s got a solid class brought in and looks to be bringing in another great class...
Having said that...
You idiots acting like Fisher isn’t a good coach need to STFU. Dude has a national title. He finished 2nd in the West his first year at AtM, and he’s out recruiting us right now. He beat LSU wish a shitty, soft team. Shut the frick up with the “Jimbo sucks” talk. Yea, O deserves another year or maybe 2 depending on how this year goes. And yes Fisher can actually be a good coach. Things could change depending on this season but right now O is not even in the same stratosphere as Jimbo Fisher.

Miles and Mack Brown have titles, too. Do you want them? Fisher did not out-recruit LSU in 2019 and currently isn’t for 2020. I don’t think anyone is saying he sucks, but rather he isn’t worth the money it would take to get him in Baton Rouge.

Jimbo doesn’t suck but I don’t think he is that great either. He is a slightly better version of Les. Really good but not in the top tier of current coaches. Florida State collapse over the last two years has a lot to do with Jimbo. Without Jameis he never made the playoffs in a much weaker ACC before Clemson ever really took off. Then Dabo and Clemson completely passed him by and he ran to A&M because they paid him a boatload of money and he literally has nothing to lose with that contract. He can leave when he wants and they have to pay him 75 mil unless he gets caught with a co-Ed on a motorcycle.

at LSU as a Oc and at FSU as a HC! best QB coach in the country if anybody has watched him throughout his career which most morons here were still shitting their diapers most probably which is why they make ignorant statements. Hell go watch jake cokers interview praising jimbo and saban. jimbo had record setting offenses at LSU. record setting QB's. he won hardware at FSu before jameis. division and conference. he is in top 4 win % among actice coaches last i checked and that was including CUm who has now semi retired for a wee bit.

he did well with the shite he had at TAMU last year. those that could not see the difference are the football ignoramuses that post here. he can coach 1 side of the ball plus QB's. O cannot do any of that.
