Can't make this shite up!

quote:

"He walked in there and said it's time to set your jaw," said former Tiger offensive lineman K.J. Malone. "And started punching himself in the jaw."

quote:

"It's a real serious punch," said Toby Weathersby, another ex-LSU offensive lineman who spoke with AL.com at the NFL combine. "Then he'll look at us and start growling. He'll give us a growl and you know what time it means. It's time to go win a ball game."

quote:

"Before one of the games," Etling said, "he'll come down and drink a whole Red Bull, smashes it on his head, lifts off his shirt and he's punching himself in the jaw getting us ready, pumped up to play. That's Coach O for you."

Can anyone blame Joe Burrow if he doesn't buy into THIS guy?

What do you think the self-inflicted jaw punches have done to his brain over the years?

Sounds like what you look for in a D-Line coach.

I actually kind of like it too. I enjoyed the article when I read it yesterday, but didn't feel like taking the time to copy and paste everything and create a thread.

Do we have any indication from players that they don't like it? I've read several threads on this and watched the videos. I haven't seen anything negative from the players, just the fan boys.

Did a lot of good against Troy.

But that's not the point.

It's gimmicky. That lack-of-substance bullshite works for an interim coach, but I want to see more substance from a guy hired to build a program.

Not to mention, gimmicks like that get old pretty quick.

But that's all Orgeron has to offer.

Its germans, but your ilk had the thread anchored, eventhough it is a factual article that was simply posted on this board.....

So posting it again seems fair game

I’ll smash TWO red bulls, rip my shirt AND pants off, and punch Derek in the face and growl at Mike the day O gets shitcanned.

Ed recruited me to Ole Miss back in the day and he was the same way and honestly I loved it. Guy would get in the trenches with you if he could, you guys want everyone to look the same, act the same, sound the same. That's lame and is more of a turn off to recruits than someone with his own personality and character. Quit bichin
