there are several other in-state wide receiver targets in play including the state’s No. 1 prospect, Terrace Marshall.

As reported earlier, Marshall and his parents visited LSU on Thursday and from what I understand the visit went very well. Everything I’ve heard for quite some time indicates that Marshall is almost certain to sign with LSU, but he wants to see LSU’s new-look offense first.

And really, with a new offensive coordinator and the team’s fourth wide receiver coach in as many years, that’s easy to understand.

Clearly, Coach O knows that several other offensive prospects feel this way, too. While speaking to the Rotary Club this week, Orgeron confirmed this by saying, “I think it would help a lot to prove we are going to throw the football, prove we’re going to throw with three receivers every down, sometimes four.”

Doesn't every school have three wide formations?

Why is that considered unusual?

Did you think he was saying he would sometimes use four Downs as in mixing in trick plays? I think it's pretty clear he's talking about using four receivers.

The forward pass baby !!!

It always amazed me how CLM was the TE's coach for the Dallas Cowboys and yet at LSU he rarely threw to them.
