of course she could have tried waiting, but i still don't find her to be some entitled racist. she just misunderstood a moment, but her efforts did not affect them whatsoever.

One of them is right here. She was tone deaf and a sister dying of cancer doesn’t make it all right. It certainly makes it a lot less bad though.

Where did the idiot Twitter mob get racist from? I heard Clyde's dad respond to the question in the interview, but how did someone get racist out of that interaction. It really pisses me off when people just throw that word around so liberally. That's one of the worst things to call someone without having actual proof they are a racist. Maybe I missed it but I didn't see anything in the video that would make me think she was racist.

shite, people were saying worse than that. They were equating her to a slave master, saying that she thought black people were only there for her entertainment, etc.

I absolutely think it was a bad look, and a little over-the-top to keep trying to get Clyde's attention when he was having a beautiful moment with his father. But we don't know what other people are going through, and it can be difficult to judge another person's character (or intentions) in a single moment.
