Clyde quietly had a very good game
16 carries 110 yards (6.9ypc); 5 catches 54 yds

Comparatively Etienne:
15 carries 78 yds, 1 TD(5.2ypc); 5 catches 36 yds

Honestly I don't think we ran Clyde enough, but he made the most of his opportunities.

I thought the same thing. I was a little surprised we didn't see Curry or TDP either, but the coaches knew we had the mismatches outside. Just had to give Joe enough time to get the ball to them.

Don't know if anyone else made the same observation, but I commented to my friends that LSU generally seemed to have much more success with CEH lined up in the backfield than when LSU went 5-wide.

Clemson seemed like they were selling out to disrupt the 5-wide passing game by blitzing up the middle with 47 whenever they could. Having CEH in the backfield seemed to slow down their blitzing and force them to play more honest.
