Money gets rocked for a couple HR in game 1 and that series could be completely upside down.

What brilliance will we see this weekend ?

ETA: and quietly sneaking Thompson back to short was studly too.

I wanted Johnson to try things and he did. Nothing wrong with finally deciding Thompson will just have to play better at short. Same with Berry at 3rd.

It’s on them now, play error free baseball and we win.

Hilliard started because he didn’t want to move money up a day to throw on Thursday. A lot of coaches do that.

The series started on Friday, hoss. He would have had an extra day of rest since he threw the Thursday before. Not sure what youre talking about.

In the pregame interview last week Johnson said you throw your best pitcher game 1 & that at the moment Hilliard was our best pitcher with 3 out of 4 SEC wins in games he had started

bit of an overstatement calling it a golden moment. It was the right thing to do, he was 2 weeks late doing it and given Hilliard has the most success it seemed obvious he should be on Friday. Much easier to win a rubber game when you take game 1 vs winning 2 in a row.

What else is the guy not doing to your standards, Skip? How many games have you won again? Get over yourself.
