Don't be fooled...
LSU signed one out of Texas in Christian LaCouture
But, His father was on the Maine Hockey team that won a NCAA title in hockey in 1993...
So he is apparently a Northeast Coonass.. whether from Maine or Mass... ???Or am I wrong and his father is a Canadian by birth???
Anyway... Lacouture is one from Texas, so we did get one from Texas... and He is likely an Acadian...
''la couture'' means the seam (of pants).. and that is hard to make a nickname out of...
So let's be liberal with his name...
And dub him ''THE CULTURE''
or maybe in a coonass way ''co-ture''
What do you guys say???
