I said it in a game thread, but will repeat it. There have been times where I was at work, etc, and unable to watch, but was able to keep up due to your post. Very much appreciated my dude, cheers.

No problem. That's what BPB is all about

Shouldn’t it be PBP- play by play?

I did too, I figured I needed to stay away from tRant for a bit

JML has been awesome with the game threads too, I think we make a great team.

Thanks, game threads are nothing compared to BPB
We appreciate all the time you put in

Nope, that's reserved for TV/radio announcers. What we do on TD is called BPB

I think it was Dro who started it, before I was even on here. He made a typo, and we ran with it

Having to do both is really hard, I've had to do it quite a few times. Knowing the game thread is taken care of makes the BPB a lot easier

This. When I only have time to check for score updates I know I can count on these guys to keep me informed.

Thanks for the great work CW & JML!

I just realized, I've been here longer than Chris Blair. But don't ask me to do a radio call, my voice sucks

And now that we've had a coaching change, I can also say I've been here longer than Jay. Not impressive now, but it might be in 20 years, who knows.

Not sure if you hear this much but I can tell you people are learning about your skills and tuning into TD to follow LSU Baseball games when they're not in front of a TV. The way you organize each post and at-bat makes it easy to catch up on the game and know exactly who did what at each plate appearance. That is so much better than any play-by-play sports app can offer.

Thank you, it means a lot to know that my BPB has such a positive impact on the LSU fanbase. It's meant for people who can't watch the game, so I'm glad to hear that more people are reading it.

But you should also thank my predecessors, liquid rabbit and Gmorgan, they paved the way for this to happen at all. Rabbit chose me as his successor, I wasn't sure what to make of it at the time, but it worked out great. And let's not forget Dro, for coining the "BPB" terminology.

Cheer and JML know me well after this season - when I post something like this, I mean that shite.

I'm not employed by LSU or TD, despite what people might think. I have a real job, so that or other stuff can get in the way sometimes. But when I'm here, the BPB should explain to the reader what exactly is happening, since it's targeted at people who can't watch, and I feel like I've gotten better at doing that over time.

I've been doing this for 8 years, and it's been a good run so far. Let's keep it up next year!

Indeed it is. I'm not a Louisiana native, as you can probably tell from my username, but after graduating from LSU, I'm here to stay. How could you not love the culture, the passion, the fan support? I'm not about to walk away from all that, so thank you
