Check Your LSU Accounts- UT Game Ticket Requests are Being Fulfilled

Ive been checking my account for weeks, finally this morning showing that we received 2 tickets (balance $300) for the UT game.. We had requested 4, but i wont be complaining.
It’s still a shame that we’ve all had to wait on pins and needles, all i hope is that LSU returns the favor next season when UT plays at Tiger Stadium and only allots them 3500 tix as well.

Did they send an email confirming that you got the ticket?

I'm fairly sure this will be the case. I don't think that Scott W. will give them any more tickets than they gave us. Those seats in the southeast corner that usually go to visitors should be sold to Tiger fans.

The prices on stubhub are laughable for a regular season football game.

I haven’t seen an email, at least not yet.. I checked my lsu ticket account site (not TAF, the other one) and it said two fulfilled for UT, and two unfulfilled.

From your lips to god’s ears.... i cant imagine Woodward being as much of a pushover as Alleva was, hope we’re not wrong.

Possibly.. but you do realize that there are more Tiger fans within 3 hrs of UT (inc Houston, Dallas and Austin) than there are in the entire state of Louisiana? Not per capita, but more fans TOTAL.. and far more fans that can actually afford to attend a game than in La.
Ive never seen demand for a game this high ever.. Hell, i was able to get eight tickets for the LSU/BAMA title game in 2012 (which i now wish I’d skipped) far easier than landing two tickets for LSU/UT.

As an LSU alum proudly living in SE-LA, I call BS on this garbage.

Ok... i have no way to prove it, it’s anecdotal.. and you have no way to prove it isn’t true.. all I can tell you is that the amount of purple and gold flags, LSU bumper stickers etc that you see around Houston will make your head spin.. at least as much as UT or A&M.. and that city alone (Houston) has i think 6 million people, whereas the whole state of La has only a couple million.. then you add in Dallas/Ft Worth (Top Five in the US in population) and the tons of Tiger fans who live there.. and now Austin, while obviously a UT town, has thousands of LSU fans, a handful of ‘LSU bars’, etc.. it also depends on how you define a ‘fan’, but if it’s simply people who root for one particular college team (LSU)- then in sheer numbers , Texas wins.. if you define it as number of people who attend at least one LSU game per year, Texas also wins.. Look, i live in Texas and am not a fan of the state as a whole- but there are more LSU fans living in this state than in Louisiana.

They already said in the email they sent out a couple of months ago that this would be the case next year as well.

Excellent. Texas fans will travel and will pay top dollar for tickets. The bottom line is that if you want to avoid a lot of UT fans in Tiger Stadium in 2020, don't sell your tickets to brokers or opposing fans. There will be plenty of Tiger fans who need tickets.
