Several days of hitting F5 all day (yes I have a job) but I love LSU and I keep looking for any bit of good news (or new news). I've read so many threads, articles, Tweets, etc. Just fricking exhausted

I tried to stop keeping up with the saga and only lasted a few hours. Such is sports fandom.

Bump. I’m even MORE exhausted today. What a mess.

it's hard, but the big question of course is: is this as hard as LSU is making it?

LSU's "compliance office" bends over and takes it.

I’m so [explitive] tired of talking about this [expletive] situation.

All the while, Bama players are in line at the dodge dealership getting the new model.

Sick to my stomach that we have a clueless administration that seems determined to get in its own way at every turn.

Complete and total lack of leadership. An athletic department that has so much potential, but constantly has to battle its own school's poor leadership.

Ready to go t Nashville and support the players that have given us one of the best basketball seasons in school history.

At which point, I'll limit any money I give to LSU (donations, ticket purchase, etc.) until I'm convinced we have remedied our leadership issues.

Exactly this.

I have no confidence in this management team.

thinks the worst; prays for the best.

or, is it that you work for the fudge packing LSU compliance office? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Stop being a little bitch. The roster isn’t going anywhere and they aren’t magically going to get worse becuse of a coaching change, IF that even happens.

The first. I ran the game thread Saturday night, I was all over the board cheering on the Tigers this year.

But this administration will bury the program for appearances. At this point, all our pining is just going to make them stay stronger to their commitment to fire Wade and gut the program of any chance of winning.

I’m just resigned to the disappointment. Just seems silly to get so involved in the games this year when it can be all taken away so easily.

I look back and feel I really lost faith in the complete system after they fricked up the Les thing in 2015.

After that, I watch but my interest is at all time lows and I'm getting the feeling this might finish me off.

That's just me. I don't care what happens with this situation, my life in reality is not affected, so I guess I'm past exhausted. I'm already done and just now learning it.

The situation is black and white, but our fans keep adding emotion to the situation and searching for gray area where there is none.

The facts are, Wade is on FBI wire tap discussing what appears to be illegal benefits for Smart. His refusal to come in for a meeting or even deny those facts leaves the LSU admin in a position to assume the worst and suspend him until further evidence comes to light. Wade said he won’t come in until after the trial (April 22). Best case scenario, he returns to the team in late April, early May.

Smart is in the better position in that there’s no direct proof of him knowing about or committing NCAA violations. Depending on what comes of the interview with the 2 potential middle men, he could potentially be back this week.

This is not to say that future sanctions and vacations couldn’t happen if more proof comes out that he took money, but right now, they are just going on the word of Smart, his mother, and the middle men.

If more than 3 players are still here after Wade gets let go, I’d be shocked. We will be prying kids from Southeastern and McNeese at that point.

I feel like there's almost no point in rooting for LSU athletics until there's a complete overhaul at president, AD, and the BOS.

If something good is happening, you can count on at least one of these incompetent fricksticks to screw it all up.
