With Chase recently saying he believes himself to be the better of the 2 it got me wondering… who would you take? Assuming you get both guys for 4 years? 1 season? And 1 game?

I think I take Chase for a season because he can absolutely take over at any point and win you games.

But I lean towards Jefferson for 4 years and also for 1 game. He has the ability to get open whenever he wants and I believe is the more consistent of the 2.

What says the rant?

Chase but it’s not like you can lose in this situation.

They are both nearly equal to me.

Chase just broke some of Jets rookie records and stuff but as of now I would lean towards Jefferson.

Jefferson has played with Kirk Cousins who is not terrible, but is not Joe Burrow caliber. Jefferson has also had to have targets shared with a top 10-15 WR in Adam Thielen.

With those things in mind, I will lean Jefferson but it’s SUPER close.

I think Jefferson is the better more complete route runner, when watching highlights Jefferson seems to be using more routes to get open. Chase catches SO many on go's or back shoulder's alone

Also I agree with Jefferson being more consistent. If you need a guy to get 150-200 yards in a game 3-4 times a season then Chase is that guy, but if you need a guy to get 100-115 yards a game 7-8 times a season then Jefferson is that guy.

Thielen isn't a top 10-15 guy anymore. Chase had to share targets with tee higgins, ozamah, and tyler boyd.

I'm a really big fan of TB and Uzomah, but I think the magnification of the Bengals might be skewing perspective slightly here. Both are extremely good and underrated players, but Theilen would still be taken over those two every day of the year by every team.

Jefferson is a more versatile and polished. Chase is impossible to press and is as athletic as they come. Both have great hands.

That may be true, but those are the 3rd and 4th options. I believe Higgins is pretty easily taken over Theilen now.

Right now Chase because of his speed and deep ability. But I expect Justin to have the longer more successful career because even if he slows down he could get open with his route running ability. Jets is another Larry Fitzgerald type

I think it is close, but Chase just has the 'IT" factor. Almost like he was born to play WR.

If your life depended on it you’d take Chase for 1 game, 1 season, 4 seasons, or whatever. Else you’d be dead.

I'm not sure I agree, but I could see how someone may have that opinion.

Higgins was really solid toward the end of the regular season

As Deion Sanders told Jerry Jones, “Both”!
To me, they have different talents, both are terrific.

This is subjective. Both are on the same level. That’s all that matters

Like others have said, you can't really go wrong with either but I have to go with Chase.

Chase is actually a really good downfield blocker too. Not saying Jefferson isn't, but I can specifically remember multiple plays where Chase allowed guys to pick up lots of extra yardage
