Nuss has not impressed me much in his time this season, but last night he did at least hit WRs in the numbers and threw the ball. Drops didn’t help him, and he sailed one and got chewed for it.

I’m not saying Nuss is a great QB but he did atleast throw the ball..

JD is a good kid and very mobile. But our OLine has actually improved and is giving him time… and he just won’t throw the ball. I get long developing routes are part of the issue, but there’s been so many times with guys open and he just is scared to toss it.

Playing scared won’t win the big games. Nuss atleast will take the chances. I’m not sure which is worse tbh.

He will only play if Daniels has to come out of the game.

I think it’s the game to give your better passer a few series. JD isn’t good enough to be considered “the guy” and Nuss “the backup”.

You’ll be very disappointed in the outcome if Nuss were to start

He hasn’t proven himself to be better at anything.

Well seems the coach disagrees with you. You may want to take that up with him

I don't think Nuss plays unless JD is hurt. The coaches have to convince JD to throw it. On the upside he has 0 interceptions.

Zero. Unless JD gets dinged which has now happened two games in row. We’ll likely see Nuss again at some point this year but it won’t be because JD got pulled.

Can we agree that the only people that get to call him Nuss are his friends?

So you’re for more turnovers and likely more losses if the QB takes chances?

I don’t want a qb to be careless, but with the raw physical skills possessed by, and as talented as we believe the wr’s are, I want a qb to take some risks down field at times.

To put it another way, I’d rather a QB that has a stat line of 30 TD’s and 6 int’s as opposed to one with a line of 15 TD’s and 2 INT’s.
