Please. If the person calling the assignments knows what he’s doing the number is no issue. Besides aren’t O linemen supposed to be the smartest guys on the field?

If you are an o-lineman and there is a guy on the other sider near you IN A THREE POINT STANCE pretty sure you need to pay attention to him regardless of what number he is wearing.

But these guys are supposed to be able to say whatever they want now without any criticism. We are supposed to worship the ground that they walk on because of the difference in our skin pigmentation.
