CEO will be a head coach next year

Whether it's with LSU or another school.
Jimbo is my first choice. He's the natural choice.
If O wins out and only loses to Bama, then he's earned the job in my opinion. He would have to hire a new OC, ST coach, LB coach, DL coach, etc....
Herman's okay also, but don't expect him to stick around more than 5 years.

Unless it is Alabama or his alma mater, I am unsure what school has a much higher ceiling than LSU.

The real question is whether or not Alleva is willing to hire someone else or just say 'whatever, he did good enough' and let O have the job.

While I think Herman is our first choice, I do agree that he may not stick around for a extended period like Miles did. People very close to him admit that UT has always been his dream job, and you can bet anytime that position is open for discussion, Herman's name will be in the mix. Would rather to have someone who loves LSU and sincerely wants to become our head coach, cuz LSU is such a big brand in college football to deserve someone's commitment like that.

Jimbo is a hell of a coach. You can't judge a coach by one season. It's the complete body of work and what he's done at FSU speaks for itself.

LSU is lucky Jimbo was not hired at the end of season last year. I can't believe some people still mention his name after the Louisville fiasco and losing to NC. He was not a good OC at LSU anyway.
