You seem to be pretty proud of this little statement. You've used it in 6 posts on this page alone. Do you mind if I use it. I was thinking of using it on the TV Board, like if someone were to ask "hey, what's the plot of this weeks episode of Turn about?", I'll answer with "it's Les Miles old and antiquated offense that Nick Saban knows like the back of his hand."
It doesn't seem fair that people that might not visit the Tiger Rant, not to be able to enjoy it as well.

Defense was A+...nobody else will hold Bama to 10 points. The O couldn't handle the Bama D line, had plenty of great field position in the game.

Perhaps he doesn't want the defense to get complacent. Perhaps he want them to stay mad, stay motivated for the upcoming game against Arkansas. He needs to get their mindset straight and not dwell on the Alabama game.

I'm in agreement that the defense held up there end of the bargain. Just placing in context the statement that Coach O made was accurate.

I can tell you who I would keep out of O and Dave.
It's Dave, lol. See ya O.

Reading some of these posts is really discouraging. It is hard to believe that so many people apparently thought that beating Alabama would require nothing more than a coaching change. Mid season, at that.
Then, folks start judging O's coaching ability based on one half of a single sentence; a sentence they read on the Internet.
Try to be patient. And realistic.

LSU kept frigging Alabama scoreless for three fricking quarters and only gave up 10 points. Ask any team that play Alabama this year how they WISH they could have done the same.

Most didn't even bother to read the transcript or watch the actual PC.

Everyone needs to go listen to his press conference themselves. Amazing how that's all the OP heard.

Sounds like Les Miles speak to me. Guice didn't get more carries because they planned to use LF exclusively. Bad offensive plan, especially when it was obvious LF was getting hammered because of no blocking, but Guice should have gotten 10 carries to keep LF from being beaten up.
Not rolling out the qb was another fail on the offense. How many TE passes? 3?
Les Miles offense the whole game, and then Coach O pops that one off about the defense. That is pathetic, and if you considered motivation, then that's the wrong way to motivate.
So disappointed in the offensive game plan. This is why we need a new coach who can plan something other than what the previous coach was fired for.
We didn't fire Les Miles for Orgeron to give LSU the same game plan they fired Les Miles for. How idiotic is that?
I want a coach who has more imagination than what was showed in the biggest game of the year.
Big Thank You to Coach Aranda and the Defense.

He only told the truth. Why are people getting so upset?
They're not used to it because Les Miles wouldn't do that.

If he said that, it doesn't matter what the context was, that's something you don't ever mention after holding the #1 team to 10 points! You should never lose a game when you hold your opponent to 10 points. Sounds like he's trying to smooth over some of the harsh criticism of the offense which is right where it needed to be. Problem with Aranda is that he's too good to be satisfied for more than this year or perhaps one more as an assistant coach and then he's gonna be outta here and on to a head-coaching gig. For those wanting Kiffen to come in as an OC, I don't think he's going to be OC for more than this season either. I believe when Saban picks up these "bargain" bin coordinators due to them being in a bad spot temporarily, he makes them commit to a certain number of years to the program as a prerequisite to being hired.

If he said that, it won't be soon enough for him to leave.
Orgeron gets an F for last night. He states that he lets the coordinators and position coaches make the decisions. That abdication, not leadership. The moment was too big for him last night and he looked lost. They did nothing to scheme any assistance against the Bama D.
Without Aranda it would have been pure carnage.
I doubt we keep Aranda. He will be in high demand and we don't know how long it will take to fill the HC position.

Well it's the truth, and if you are too mentally handicapped to figure it out, then go fly a kite and stop boring me to death with your stupidity.

Are you really so damn lazy that you can't read the transcript that's within this thread?

It might very well be the truth, but Jesus jumped up and down, you don't need to repeat it six fricking times in six different posts on one page.
You're boring me to death with your stupidity.
