Just watched his highlights from HS that kid is the real deal. He is very underrated. Surprised he was just a 3* by most recruiting sites.

His size and lack of elite speed are the reasons for a 3* rating. His talent definitely suggests otherwise. Great vision, agility, balance, and strength. Asset in the return game as well.

For the normal people that appreciate actual names, he means Clyde Edwards-Helaire

Of course it's the greatest because he isn't Akers. Go watch that film and get back to me on shitting up that recruiting and Etienne. If ANYTHING happens to Guice we better pray our QB and OLINE production are off the charts. I never thought looking back at the last 20+ years we would be without a true stud (physical and fast back) heading into next season already on the roster. Do t give me the Ducre angle because he hasn't done anything in that regard and has been on this team.
Makes me want Devin at back if all else fails and our linebacking is awesome without him. His speed and power is what I mean by stud.

Hightlights are impressive; stops, starts & cuts reminds me of TM7. Also, somewhere in a 1 on 1 ( at camp?) with D Moses he made Moses look silly!

I'll help the OP out....he's Jones-Drew like and hell I'll say it....Barry Sandersesque type running style. I did not say he's the next Barry Sanders. Also...GREAT hands out of the backfield.

So the same as Guice or does he have better vision? Come on guys. He's a fast elusive back especially in the open field. Does he have that angry running style that we are accustomed to?
The key is how Canada with USE him. How do we maximize his ability. If we are going to have a power spread/ multiple offense we have to have a big back as well. Go look at the Clemson /Pitt film and see what back had a lot of plays on that first drive.. it's on YouTube FWIW.

As an outa-stater, this is what I wonder to. Didn't CEH and Guice go t o the same High school?

Which one had a better career there?

WHAT? Lmao. NO.
Dalton had huge thighs with tremendous balance. His balance and the ability to cut in the hole was very good. Dalton wasn't a fast back. Garry James was fast.
