I went to the cotton bowl to check out the game yesterday.

The whole experience was top notch (aside from the play which was just sloppy as the cap1)

The stadium is a palace, bottom line. The game was just a top notch production as well IMO. I've been to an old cotton bowl, the BCSNCG in 07 and this game and sitting in there all i could think was that this new cotton bowl was gonna be a great NC host some day.

I almost bought in to Jerry's line that the stadium itself is going to be a global tourist attraction. I've been to orlando and that stadium was a sight to behold that can't matched there. I'm planning on going out there for one of the tours this week also.

Cotton >>>>>> Cap One.

Not even close. It's better than playing in the Rome Coliseum

Re parking: if you ever do the Crap One experience again, park at Amway Arena, about one mile east of the stadium. I parked there for $10, completely safe and secure, then shuttled for free to the stadium. Saves you time and money, plus the extra peace of mind.

I think its funny that so many people here are blaming orlando and/or the cap 1 bowl for their own ability to plan or lack of research.

It doesn't take much effort to find out when each disney parks open/close, and that with a little research those are the best times to go. It also doesn't take muc research to find out about Sea World and Universal/Islands of Adventure.
