Can’t find the game on ESPN app

Took me a minute, I clicked on the Schedule
and scrolled down to 1p
and scrolled down to 1p

Found the game easily and then had the annual first game “no account” and “not part of your package” errors. Had to log out of TV provider and espn account, then log back in.
Still wouldn’t work on Firestick, but Roku is working.
This happens every year when baseball starts, even though I use the app often to watch other stuff.

I’m watching now, but it wasn’t working until I paid the 5.99$ monthly subscription. I also selected my tv provider direct tv. Is everyone paying for a subscription now even or did I just waste the money??
