One that won't score points in the SEC. I've watched at least two seasons worth of games and I haven't seen anything different other than a few shovels and some jet sweeps. If it helps he was the coordinator at Wisconsin, so when was the last time they were an offensive juggernaut. I'll wait.

Nothing short of prolific.

Problem is, it sounds a lot like a power run offense to me, which has proven very difficult to run in today's SEC.
Lol auburn and Bama both are power run offenses, they just do it out of spread formations

Under Canada in 2012, Wisconsin scored 70 on Nebraska, 63 on Indiana, 38 on Purdue, 38 on Minnesota, 37 on UTEP and 31 on Illinois on their way to a berth in the Rose Bowl. I don't recall LSU scoring 70 or 63 in a very long time.

Really, I mean really? Indiana, Minnesota and UTEP so you're comparing those teams to Florida, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia. His offense is POWER RUN, that is the strength of every SEC defense. You can't run POWER football in the SEC and win consistently. Not even Bama can win with that formula anymore.

Yes they are more of a hybrid power/spread offense. (Probably needs a new name by now)
But I was referring to the traditional power run based on short plays with tight formations to build the play action to take chunks of yards at a time. That's what it sounds like to me, but that's why I started this thread: to ask what exactly it is.

He runs whatever he feels like and makes it work like a boss.

In the presser he said that he doesn't try to fit kids into "his system". He will play a type of football that maximizes the talent he has, whatever that might be.

Look, a-hole, you said Wisconsin wasn't a team known for offense. They were in 2012 under Matt Canada. They hung up 70 on Nebraska. 70 freaking points. When's the last time LSU even sniffed 70 points against a Power 5 opponent?
I never compared those teams to SEC teams. But I've seen LSU score way less than 70 against crappy teams for years. Hell, we were all going nuts when we scored 40-something on Mizzou! You're the one who said you'd sit and wait for someone to show you when Wisconsin was known for offense. I just showed you, and you act like a douche about it. I guess you can't stand facts. They hurt too much.

Watch the Penn St game. Where in the SEC is a 270lb Lineman going to get a push on a 350lbs lineman to get the second level of the defense. Don't get me wrong, I love the Tigers, I just feel we put lipstick on a pig, and we're ok with that. Pitt had 5"10 speedsters running those sweeps not 6'3-6'6 215 lb WR's like we have. And why not get a coordinator that runs what majority of LOUSIANA high schools run? Our QB problems comes from a lack of understanding what high schools are running, Shea Patterson, Dak Prescott, Franks ran Spread do you realize LA has a 6'8 QB that threw for almost 4000 yds with 48 TD's and only 5 ints? He won't come because he won't throw it he'll hand it off for three years.

Can we get to the playoffs with the 80th ranked pass offense? No you can't. BTW if you try and present an argument intelligently don't use douce it it means wash as in clean something.
