We were supposed to get our doors blown off last year and we almost pulled it off. Yeah, LSU always has a chance vs Bama.

Sorry man. I don't feel like I'm being negative, just looking for tangible reasons why we beat Alabama. That's all.

Game isn't played strictly dealing with tangibles. All tangibles do is get you on the same field. Tangibly, we have disadvantages but it's not like we're matching up FCS talent with them. We have legit talent, theirs is just marginally better. If we play with more "want" than they do, those intangibles can easily make up the gap.

Sure but it will take mistakes by bama and lsu would have to be in the + column in the turnover categories . I think the D is too young and inexperienced going up against a sr QB and a well balanced offense . With that said no I don't personally think lsu will beat bama . Lsu loses by 10-14

Why are gumps allowed here? We can't post at Tidefans.com. Why the love for gump fans here?

And we are not allowed to post in the gump section of TD either but they can come in here with their hit and run comments

You guys are more fun. Seriously and its not a bad thing. Tide fans are dull we all agree on most things. You guys are a split fan base and its good reading.

My point, which I thought I explicitly made clear, was that desire is not something you can touch or measure. I don't mind explaining it to someone who lacks reading comprehension though.

Yep tide fans are pretty consistent . You cannot produce championships you be gone . Perkins, billy boy, debose an Shula can vouch. Oh I forget it's rolling mike price too. Lsu fans are split between lsu fans that demand lsu to play to its potential and the sunshine pumpers . Mix in red necks and Cajuns and it's free entertainment

Of course we can.

If Curly the tail chaser can beat em with that team then this team surely can.

Sheek lives in bama, and appears to be a closet fan. Yea, let's run off the only guy that challenges Saban every year. Great idea.

All the adjectives you could have picked to describe us and you settled for "split?"
Missed your shot bud!

My better half is an LSU grad and she reads this from time to time so I have to be nice. Plus it’s not personal I don't dislike you guys.

Let's see, LnchBox, Saban took over a 3-8 program and led LSU to the top of college football, including NC, and has won three NCs at AL since he took over there, currently undefeated and ranked No.1. After the fiasco a/k/a 2011 NC game, Miles has not coached LSU to any championships, including a bowl win, lost three games last year and two already this year before we have even played the "meat " of our schedule. We may even wind up the fifth team in the West. And you imply that Saban and Miles are comparable? Talk about being a pumper

LSU had no talent here already when Saban got here though, right?

If Saban is so much of a better coach, how does Les ever beat him?

I never stated to run off les. Is lsu playing to its potential? No . Is lsu trending down? No way . This is par for the course with les and honestly I don't think there is a coach that can do much better here besides Saban . If there is a coach that can recruit, deal with our fanbase and yield us one less loss a year I would like to know what coach besides les and Saban that can do that in Br. Law of averages for les states that every 4-5 years, lsu will make a run at the title
