Is there any reason we never let Adkins kick any extra points or fgs

Remember Connor Culp? He's still around as the back up and could return as a red shirt SR next year.

He's gotta be one of the few guys around in 2020 who played for Les Miles.

york was also battling a hip flexor injury during his rough stretch of bad kicks

York got the yips for a 3 game stretch there

In all fairness to him, I think Orgeron said he was having hip flexor issues during that time he struggled. It was more an injury and not the yips.

Tracy right now, but York could end up being tGOAT LSU kicker in three years.

David Browndyke never missed an extra point in four years.

78 PAT attempts for York. Geez. That’s a lot. I also don’t remember that he missed 4 attempts.

Most of Cade York’s missed XPs were from shitty snaps/holds/protection.

Tracy had the biggest game winning kicks in the clutch on the road. Let’s not discount the game winner at Auburn and the Miami game that set the tone for having a clutch kicker.

York’s biggest game of the year was at Texas. He was clutch all game and every field goal counted. Tracy came with experience.

Congrats to York on a great year. Both guys are great, Tracy’s experience is valuable.

We replaced a kicker that was good enough to be a fan favorite with a freshman and barely noticed a change.

That's a helluva season Mr. York!

Loved Tracy, and he produced when the game was on the line. Know what's better (for the team)? Not putting your kicker in that position. I feel like York is over his injury and he's been perfect down the stretch. If we needed him to win a game, I bet he'd drill it.

Man if we can go a few years without having to put him in that situation though... golden.

Didn’t Cade make two plus 50’s in one game? Both kickers were fantastic for LSU. LSU has been fortunate with kickers under O.

One thing stands out for York - the immediate elevation he gets in his kicks, even from long distance.

I'll take Cade York. Overall he is better in my opinion and had a pretty successful first season and even though he had to deal with a hip flexor for a part of the season. He also has a much strong leg as well relative to Tracy.

I'm also pretty sure Cade York will make it to the NFL.
