Cade York vs Cole Tracy

Tracy 2018
1-19: 0-0
20-29: 13-13
30-39: 7-8
40-49: 6-7
50+: 3-5

York 2019:

This one is a fun debate I think. Tracy was a cult hero last year and one of the more reliable kickers we've ever had. York has come in been pretty damn good as a true freshman.
York has the bigger leg, Tracy had the clutch gene whereas we haven't had a game come down to needing York to hit a late FG. Whoever you got, I'm glad we've got York for the next 3 years

Well if you look just at the numbers. York’s downfall this year were the missed Extra Points where Tracy didn’t miss any of those. but good lord York has many more chances at EP. Not that it really mattered in any games. But that’s the only main difference.

Splitting hairs but York has been incredible. I’m going to knock on some wood, but to have a kicker like this for another 3 years. Geez. That’s a difference maker .

York got the yips for a 3 game stretch there
State 3/4
Auburn 2/3
Alabama 4/5
But hes gone 25/25 since then.
ETA: to be fair, I remember the one against Auburn and that was botched snap.

This stat has many key roles in my response.
1. Holy fricking shite, we have had almost double XPs this year than last.
2. My answer is Tracy, because we can quibble about the others, but I want automatic on the freebies. Cade will be here long enough to fix that, though. So TBD overall.

York may just end up being LSU's all time leading scorer when he's done. He's definitely gonna get more XP's than every other kicker we've ever had, and we'll have him for 3 more years

The best stat on there is that York has attempted damn near double the amount of extra points this year. Man what a great year for the tigers
