In 6 SEC starts he has only made it past the 4th inning twice. 19 walks in 33IP.

He has been injured this season and BTW - his ERA is league average. Look at the LSU staff without Skenes. Hell Floyd is 4.86.

Tigers touched him up last year in the Sunday game. He gave up 6 er in 5 IP. Walked 5 & gave up 5 hits with 1 K. LSU won 13-3.

I continue to be amazed at the complete unwillingness of people on this board to acknowledge that Floyd is struggling. He was already falling apart in that inning, and then it got worse. As a competitor, you can't let that stuff throw you that far off your game, and you sure as heck can't use it as an excuse after the fact. I've seen countless ejections followed by prolonged arguments, that didn't cause the pitcher to forget how to throw a strike. Yeah, the ump missed a couple, but most of those pitches weren't close. He's just got to keep his composure.

That’s a terrible bet, but a decent possibility. Five innings would be great .For you to win, he has to complete the sixth inning, and I only remember him doing that once this year(?).
I would be satisfied if Floyd got an out or two in the fifth. That would set us up nicely for Sunday by saving Hurd and maybe Guidry too.
