He will be starting and be one of our best hitters, I believe. He reminds me of a young Mike Trout. Obviously he’s no Mike Trout, but looks similar. Same body type. Has great power, will hit for a high average. He needs to be playing full time. Time will tell.

He doesn't have the same body type, hit tool, power, or speed as mike trout.

Beloso will be good, but holy shite let's not compare him to the second coming of mickey mantle.

They're both white males... That's about as close as he'll get to being like Trout

I'd like to see what Beloso & Gio can do against lefties. Obviously, they don't have a problem with righties.

His fielding skills may be suspect but he is legit at the plate, He can dent a baseball I believe.

He is about as close to ken Griffey as he is to trout.

Lol what? Beloso hasn’t done anything to indicate poor fielding skills so far, at least not from my memory

While I agree with everything you said and the OP made a ridiculous statement comparing him to Trout, he was sort of right about the body type at least. Trout is 235, Beloso is 230 and they both have the same “look” and “build” Trout is just a little bit taller.

Exactly. I was going to post this same thought.

Also, screw the posters who are ragging the OP for the Mike Trout comparison because Trout is so great. The OP pointed out that he realized there is a huge difference.

He missed a easy pop up in foul territory last night.

Josh Smith missed an easy pop up last Friday night, it happens. Beloso is very good at picking balls out of the dirt and is pretty athletic for his size. He played Linebacker for Curtis last year.
