This season ULM defeated ULL, who defeated Idaho, who defeated USA, who defeated Troy, who defeated LSU

ULM > ULL > Idaho > USA > Troy > LSU

what a time to be alive

That’s why games are decided on the field and not through mathematical formulas. Underdogs win a lot of games. Troy played better THAT NIGHT. No one will convince me Troy has better players than LSU. That was an example of a team playing uninspired and not prepared. That’s why they are called upsets. LSU beating Auburn would be an upset because player for player, on paper, Auburn is better. Florida and LSU were about even, as the point spread indicated.

If we're using the transitive property, then Iowa State is better than Ohio State, since Iowa State beat Oklahoma, and Oklahoma beat Ohio State.
