“I feel for all college athletes right now. I hope their voices are heard by the decision makers. If this happened a year ago I may be looking for a job right now.”

He should have been advocating this wayyy earlier if this is how he feels. Too little too late bud.

I'm sure he has had other things on his mind considering he was the #1 pick in the NFL draft preparing for the pros. We know how he prepared at LSU.

You actually have people saying the players don’t get to decide as they make decisions based on the players best interest.

Offer the players a waiver that protects the school. Guarantee a 4 year scholarship in the event COVID results in lasting issues.

If you can find enough players to accept that, move forward. If you can’t, then so be it.

I wonder if he feels for the player’s family member who died from COVID-19. You can’t play if you are dead!

Who?

Edit: quickly misread it as another player

Stop making this virus out to be more than it is. Yes it’s real and yes it can be deadly but the overreaction is nothing but politics.

BLM just needs to say they want football. Every conference and team would IMMEDIATELY capitulate

All he is saying is he hopes their voices are heard. Nothing really bold or eye-opening really.

I don't know if its "eye opening", but it does illustrate how 1 season can change many of these players lives

That Joe Burrow could be an office worker right now gets people’s attention to look at this differently

That’s correct. The race card being pulled by black players would have a certain portion of our country spinning in circles.
