Burrow is the real deal. I bet he does well in the NFL. Wish the Saints could get him.

Yeah I love Joe as much as anybody but the other poster was right. The comparison really is joe’s first 9 games last year not this year.

Wrong.

The comparison is between DH and JB in a wide open Spread/RPO offense with well prepared receivers.

I am GLAD Haskins won that job.

Only by default. As he wasn't anointed the starter until after Joe Burrow had already left Ohio State to transfer. As the final decision on who would be the starter wasn't going to be made until in the fall camp. However, Joe Burrow didn't want to hang around and wait until then. As he didn't want to risk being named the backup and having to be a backup again for another year.

Not really. Joe knew Ohio State's offense and not LSU's offense at all last year which he had to learn on the fly last season with a brand new offensive line, brand new running backs, and brand new receivers.

Now after a year of offseason, Joe is just as comfortable with LSU's new offense, as he was with Ohio State's offense when he left.

Tried to tell you to take your victory lap yesterday baw.

You called Joe being a top 5 QB taken in the draft, he’s going top 5 overall

Think I'll just take a victory stroll over the next month or so.

And sure looks like Joe will get a very nice payday and a solid start in his NFL career.

I’ve said it before, you’re being way cooler than I would be if I was This right about something.

Too many people (including some LSU fans) don't fully realize how special Burrow has been this year.

Any NFL team that passes on taking him will get what they deserve.

Gonna be a great pro.

I'm not quite pissed off enough to dig back thru all the biggest trolls comments to go all scorched earth on 'em. Or maybe too lazy.

Or maybe having too much fun watching the LSU Tigers Tank-Roll the SEC.

Exactly. This isn't just a talented QB having a great year.

We're watching a young man calmly on course to set the All-Time completion percentage record in the history of college football.

And a humble kid, too. When they said that he "saved LSU", Burrow choked up a little and said, "LSU saved me".

Anyone have a link to that interview?

For sure

He’s fricking amazing

His Completion % at over 20 yards should be all you need to see.

That TD pass to CEH was a bullet

I'm convinced that Jeaux has now created 3-4 names to where he can explain himself over and over and say the same thing in different threads

Though Haskins may be a better runner, he's not that much better:

JB
Att 66
Yds(plus sack yds lost) 323
Avg 4.8
TDs 3

JF
Att 81
Yds(plus sack yds lost) 454
Avg 5.6
TDs 10
