Yes. That is an astounding stat.

But it is NO surprise to see Dukke trying to throw a piss balloon on it.

You buttburt that your Okies are all but out of the CFP?

That is incredible

Another fun fact

In 2011, LSU’s defense got more interceptions than gave up complications on passes over 20 yards.

LSU defense is VERY under-rated. O and Aranda let them rest a little thru the regular season. Very smart move, IMO.

Will be fun to watch the LSU D go nuts in the playoffs. Can't wait.

Very true

This stat is on point on the game against Ga. Huge advantage to have a QB & WRs who can force the Ga to defend 20 yards and deeper.

Opens up the short pass and run game.

Every time I see a new stat about Joe Burrow it is amazing.

I believe most LSU fans realize we are watching greatness this season but I think we will realize it even more next year when we have a QB that will still be pretty good but just won’t be Joe Burrow greatness. We screamed for a QB to just complete 60 percent of his passes. Joe is close to 80 percent. That’s insane.

Joe is better than Fromm hands down but absolutely 2 different offenses.

Burrow - 1) Completions 68%+, 70%+ not unlikely... 2) 3500+ passing yards. 4000+ not unlikely... 3) 5 to 1 or better TD /INT... 4) Top-5 QB Drafted - [stats in 13 games]
I thought these were optimistic, but not unreasonable predictions.
And JB9 obliterated these numbers... especially completion percentage. Truly incredible.

The WRs improved substantially more than I had hoped they would. I thought these were conservative numbers when I posted them, and achievable with only moderate WR improvement.

I wouldn't have been surprised (on the high end) by 4500 yards, 73% or so, and 40 or so TDs. and the 2nd or 3rd QB picked in the draft.

Now looks like 5000+ yards, 50+ TDs, 77%+ completions, and the #1 overall NFL pick. RBs, WRs TEs,and O-Line have worked hard and are obviously essential to setting LSU SEC, and NCAA passing records.

Joe made a tough decision coming to LSU, and it couldn't have been a better choice.
