Burrow saying all the right things, alluding to the passing of the torch and helping build Brennan's confidence. Brennan has been patient and paid his dues. Exited to see his talent in full display when he gets his opportunity.

Redshirt sophomore Myles Brennan was running with the first team during practice. Burrow looked comfortable during the limited period of viewing, which Burrow had noticed lately.

"Myles has been getting better ever since I got here," Burrow said last weekend. "I'm fully confident if I go down, he can do the same thing that I'm doing. The biggest thing he's been able to do is start understand protections and defenses really well. So he's going to be a really good player here."

A fairly seamless QB transition at LSU ?
File that under things I never thought I’d see again.

What a cool thing for a leader to say about his backup. Love it.

If you watch Myles' HS film, he's made for this offense. He's got a really nice release and velocity on his throws. If he can master the scheme and has the ability to handle pressure and process quickly, we are set for the next 2 years.

Think back just 5 years ago. Jennings and Harris. Stressful times.

Damn, so according to Jeaux, Myles is also as good as Haskins.

Wonder what Buckeye thinks about that.

This is a sign of a true team leader. He is working to improve the team in case of injury or for next year.
I would love to see Myles get a series in the first half if the situation is right. I.E. the drive starts between the 25 and 45. I hate putting in a new quarterback when backed up to your own goal line. And if your drive starts at midfield, You need your best chance to score.

everyone knows that myles has more tools than burrow. he has always been the "golden boy" ever since he signed. once he puts it all together, there will be no stopping him. don't be surprised if you start hearing his name for heisman after week 3 in 2020. especially if he masters this offense.

I buy what Burrow says 100%. If Burrow didn't have full confidence in the kid, he wouldn't have said that.

I'd love to see that, but may want to tap the brakes a little bit. I think he has a great future, but will take him some time to get acclimated once he's the starter.

If this offense were to have a QB putting up Heismanesque numbers the year after Brady shows up, he better have the official OC job title by 2021.
